Dr. Ying Li
Chief Scientist
Dr. Li is a world-renowned data scientist recognized for her substantial contributions to the practice and application of data mining, as well as her outstanding service to the global Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining (KDD) community.
She led Microsoft’s first efforts on behavioral targeting, data mining, machine learning, Internet monetization, business intelligence, and online privacy.
She has over 100 patent applications and published research papers (8 with Luis Salazar) in data mining, machine learning, computational advertising, computer program tracing, profiling, and analysis.
Dr. Li Chairs over 20 international conferences.
